Grain Logistics

To ensure its independence in handling high volumes of grain, Cerealcom Dolj has created its own fleet - 40 trucks and 80 rail cars specialized in grain transportation. Moreover, grain export deliveries can be made through railway transportation (10 of our silos have a direct connection to the railway) or water - the group owns 2 Danube terminals, in Calafat and Bechet ports.
Whether it’s a barge traveling up the Danube to Central Europe, a Handysize vessel to the Mediterranean Sea or a Panamax destined for the North African, Middle East or Asian market Cerealcom uses our supply chain expertise to offer competitive quality commodities to consumers/direct end users on both a FOB and CIF basis for both public and private business.

Grain warehouse

Own means of road transport, for the transfer of goods from its warehouses connected only to the national road transport network, to its main warehouses, connected to the railway transport network and to those in the Danube ports.

  • Owned and leased railway means of transport, for the transfer of goods from its main silos connected to the railway network, to the loading depot from the sea.
  • The means of river transport, rented by the Producer for the transport of its products from its warehouses in the reference Danube ports to the warehouses in the loading port from the sea.
  • Picking up the goods in the warehouses in the sea port of loading, from the Black Sea, their temporary storage until the time of loading and their loading on sea vessels.

    Cerealcom has contracts for port operation of goods in the port of Constanta.

     

  • Maritime transport of goods from the port of loading on the Black Sea to the contractual port of destination.
